Robin and Paul met randomly on a spooky Halloween night way back in 2010, haunting each other’s lives ever since. On social media they are the Two Dirty Boys, charting their plant successes… and (numerous) failures. They believe the online world needs a bit of a reality check, not just an endless glossy supply of filtered perfection. Since taking on their allotment in East London, they’ve expanded their growing capabilities beyond fruit and veg to houseplants – all shared with the wonderfully supportive online ‘growing community’.
In 2020 they released their first book: Regrown: How to Grow Fruit Herbs and Vegetables from Kitchen Scraps which has now been translated into several languages.
Their latest title, Propagate: How to regrow your houseplants, is released in April 2022 and offers a beginners guide to the wonders of home propagation.
